Happy Spring! Seamless Getaways is ready for your next visit with Bunny quilts and spring decorations. A new quilt is displayed in the dining room gifted to the retreat home by Pam Riss. You may have seen Pam’s Vintage Rose quilt chosen to be displayed at the Ken Burns Exhibit at Peoria’s Riverfront Museum May 7-13, 2022.
This quilt, Quilter’s Haven at Flamingo Beach, is a clever scene of whimsical quilters who are quilting in a warm climate amid seabirds and flamingos. You have to see this in person! It is delightful! Thank you so much, Pam!!!
We enjoyed meeting new guests in March with open retreats, private retreats, and Laura Heine Retreats. If you are wanting to learn a new technique, there will be additional Laura Heine retreats being offered at Seamless Getaways. Here are a couple of pictures from our March Laura Heine Retreat:
May 26-28: Open Retreat (4 Openings)
Would you like to attend a quilting retreat but don't have a group to do it? This weekend is for you! You may attend as an individual or bring a friend. This is Memorial Day weekend.
There are four bedrooms. If you and two friends want to get away, the "3 Flamingos" bedroom would fit your needs with three full size beds. You and a friend? The "Joy" bedroom has a twin- and full-size bed. You just want to get away by yourself? Choose from "the "Americana" bedroom with a queen bed or the "Queen's Parlor" with a king bed and private bathroom.
Weekends are full in May but there are open dates stays during the week.
June 9-11: Creative Memories Retreat (2 Openings)
Creative Memories Consultant, Lori Doerner, will be hosting a digital scrapbooking weekend at Seamless Getaways using Forever Digital Scrapbooking Software. July 11-13: Laura Heine Mid-Week Retreat (4 Openings)
You will have the whole weekend to create, and finish your quilt. If you are creating a 19x23 design, you will even have time to create two quilts!
