Laura’s quilts are creative, whimsical, and fun to create. During this weekend, I will teach you Laura's techniques to collage quilting. You will have the whole weekend to create the pattern of your choice and finish your quilt. If you are creating a 19x23 design, you will even have time to create two quilts! There is a supply list for this weekend class listed on the website. You may purchase these supplies from me or get them at your favorite quilt shop. If you are thinking February is an uncertain time to travel, be confident in knowing there is a full refund (less the processing fee if paid online) should you need to cancel. Maybe you've started a collage quilt and just need a little guidance or time to complete it? This is the weekend to get it done! You may choose your pattern to work on during the weekend. Use this link to register for the class and get more information. There are only seven openings for this weekend! Skill Level: Beginner--no sewing experience is needed for this class. Expectation: You will learn the process of Laura Heine Collage Quilting. You should be able to complete your design in this weekend. There are basic tools that you will need to be successful. You may purchase these items from your favorite quilt store, or I can have them ready for you when you arrive. Requirements: • Laura Heine pattern (Price varies depending on the design) • Karen Kay Buckley medium serrated edge scissors • #2 Pencil • Silicone Applique Fusing Mat (Precision Fuse Mat 17 x 24, you get two for one, or Gypsy Fusing Mat) • 12" wide Steam-A-Seam 2, (No Substitutes), 4-6 yards • Pattern Ease Foundation (Depends on the size of your pattern) • Rotary cutter • Mat • Sewing Machine * Batting * Backing for your quilt Weekend Fee: $200 This fee includes a catered lunch, light breakfast, 3-days/2 nights stay at Seamless Getaways Check in time is 9 a.m. on Friday, February 16.
